DAMALS (“Back Then”) is a book project by the St. Paulus Church community in Ludwigsburg.
Initially starting as a small collection of short anecdotes evolved into a detailed chronicle of the community‘s last 40 years. What’s interesting is the balance required due to the difference in age between the target groups. The design features large text, clear hierarchies, yet still maintains a contemporary style. All authors were photographed by me and, in addition to their text pages, each received a page dedicated solely to them.
